Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 7/27/26 | Last Updated: 7/27/26
Bryt Designs (“Bryt Designs,” “we,” “our,” or “us“) is committed to making brytdesigns.com and any subdomains (collectively, the “Site“) accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
As a web design and development agency, accessibility is not an afterthought in our work — it is part of how we build. We hold our own Site to the same standard we ask our clients to meet.
1. Our Commitment
We believe an accessible web is a better web — for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, captions, or any other assistive technology, and for everyone else too. We are working to ensure that:
- All visitors can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Site
- Content is available through multiple means, not a single mode of interaction
- Accessibility improvements are made continuously, not just at launch
2. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG has three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Bryt Designs is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance for the Site. We consider the Site partially conformant, which means most of the Site meets the standard, but some content or components may not yet fully conform.
We also design and develop with the following frameworks in mind:
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Titles II and III
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
- EN 301 549 (European accessibility standard)
- California Unruh Civil Rights Act
3. Accessibility Features of This Site
The Site has been built to include:
- Semantic HTML structure with properly ordered heading levels and landmark regions
- Full keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA minimum ratios for text and interface components
- Responsive, reflowable layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling
- Labeled form fields with clear error messaging and instructions that do not rely on color alone
- Descriptive link text rather than generic phrases like “click here”
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences set at the operating-system level
4. Our Approach to Client Work
Accessibility is built into our development process, not sold as an add-on. On client engagements, our standard practice includes:
- Auditing designs for contrast, focus order, and target size before development begins
- Building with semantic markup and ARIA only where native HTML is insufficient
- Testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers during QA
- Documenting known limitations and remediation paths at handoff
- Advising clients on content practices — alt text, heading structure, caption workflows — that keep a site accessible after launch
We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. Overlay tools that promise one-line compliance do not reliably remediate underlying code issues and can interfere with the assistive technology a visitor already uses. We fix accessibility problems in the code itself.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are aware that:
- Third-party embedded content — including video players, review widgets, chat tools, and analytics-driven interfaces — is not fully under our control and may not meet WCAG AA
- Older case studies, content and blog posts may contain images without complete alternative text or documents that have not yet been remediated
- Embedded video may not have captions or transcripts in every case; we are working to caption our library
- PDFs and downloadable resources published prior to this statement may not be fully tagged for screen reader use
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us — see Section 8.
6. Third-Party Content
The Site incorporates content and functionality from third-party providers, including embedded media, forms, chat, and review platforms. We select vendors with accessibility in mind and raise issues with them where we find them, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content we do not control.
If a third-party component prevents you from completing a task on the Site, contact us and we will provide the information or assistance you need through another channel.
7. Assessment and Testing
We evaluate the accessibility of the Site through a combination of:
- Automated testing using tools such as axe DevTools, Lighthouse, and WAVE
- Manual keyboard testing of all interactive flows
- Screen reader testing with NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
- Zoom and reflow testing at 200% and 400% magnification
- Color contrast verification against WCAG AA thresholds
Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility issues, so manual review is part of every evaluation we perform.
8. Feedback and Requests for Assistance
We welcome your feedback. If you experience a barrier on the Site, need content in an alternative format, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us:

When reporting an issue, it helps if you can tell us:
- The page or URL where you encountered the problem
- What you were trying to do
- The browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using
- A description of what happened
Our response commitment: We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to provide a substantive response, including a remediation plan or timeline, within 10 business days.
9. Formal Concerns
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your concern by writing to us at the address above marked “Attn: Accessibility — Formal Concern.” We will review the matter and respond in writing.
10. Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time project. Our current efforts include:
- Reviewing new pages, templates, and components against WCAG 2.2 AA before publication
- Remediating legacy content on a rolling basis
- Training our design, development, and content teams on accessible practices
- Reassessing the Site on a regular schedule and after significant changes
11. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement as the Site evolves and as our accessibility work progresses. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above.
